Description
The Maintenance and Repair Professional is responsible for general labor duties including maintaining the building and grounds for Regional Waste Pro facilities.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
* Responsibility for general building maintenance.
* Responsibility for maintaining cleanliness of facility including restrooms, storage areas, garages, and grounds.
* Walks property to check for repairs.
* Removes environmental hazards.
* Parking lot maintenance -cleans and maintains a safe parking lot and outlying property.
* Maintains the ground foliage including grass, plants, and trees. Mows grass, trims trees, weeds flower beds, edges borders, and cleans gutters as needed.
* Paints specified areas as determined.
* Assisting with tipping floors safety protocol -- spotting all trailers while following specified safety procedures. QUALIFICATIONS:
* Ability to perform labor work
* High School education/GED or equivalent preferred
* Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools
* Ability to follow directions and work as a team or independently
