TITLE: Production Coordinator

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

The Production Coordinator is responsible for placing Purchase Orders to suppliers, create Distro's, maintain Size scale history, and approve production samples with supervision. This is an intermediate analytical focused role but also requires experience in apparel/accessories development and construction. We are looking for people who are passionate about product. 

•    Record detail notes from Merchandising and Design teams on seasonal handovers products.

•    Keeping up to date with pending product details such as fabric, trim and updated MSRP information.

•    Approve production fabrics, trims, and TOP samples with provided guidelines.

•    Maintain organized seasonal library of approved samples and trims. 

•    Place and confirm all production purchase order with designated suppliers.

Ensure Licensee place production pos according to each buy deadline.

Maintain accuracy of po placement cost breakdown. (FOB, duty, freight, commission, etc.)

•    Conduct Po Finalize size scale per given deadline. 

•    Arrange Distro po per given deadline. (Distribution of quantity to specific regions, specialty customers)

•    Review sale orders against production orders to keep available to sales size scales balance in accordance with recent selling history.

•    Maintain size scale history for working product categories.

•    Cross check supplier's Weekly Production Schedule detail against Full Circle system record. 

•    Approve Shipments per assigned suppliers with supervision.

•    Acquire knowledges of construction, compliance rules and regulations that applicable to given product. 

•    Follow through all provided production guidelines from Po issuing to approval of top samples.

•    Assist in Quality Control Process. Potential for travel to check production progress and quality of work in process. (International and domestic)

•    Responds promptly to production and development inquiries.

•    Responds to requests for service and assistance from sales and customer service and warranty teams.

•    Other duties as assigned. 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

•    Bachelor's degree in business or relevant industry experience

•    Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (V-Lookups, Formulas, Pivot tables, conditional formatting, data validation)

•    Extensive attention to detail related to calendar, quality, and system information is required. Need strong understanding of the production process and goals of the department.

•    At least 1-3 years of experience in a design department, production department or merchandising department

•    Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.

•    Basic understanding of database systems

•    Ability to multi-task and prioritize “problems” as they come up; identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.

•    Works well in groups or teams.

•    Willingness to learn new categories and skills.

•    Organizational Support - Follows policies and procedures.

•    This position requires a minimum of 3 in office days in of our Costa Mesa location. Employees are required to work as many as 5 in office days per week until they have mastered the tasks required of this position at the discretion of their direct manager.

Liberated Brands is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The hourly range for this role in Costa Mesa, CA is $24.00 -  $27.00. This position is hybrid and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by several factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skill set, certifications, and specific work location.
