Unit Specifics:
Number of Beds: 16
Patient Ratios: 1:2
Unit staffing description: 1 nurse per 2 patients, free charge OR tech on unit
Type of equipment: Phillips central monitoring
Documentation system: Meditech
Procedures performed on unit: central line placement, art line placement, chest tubes, intubation.

Requirements:
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH STROKE SCALE
Scheduling requirements: Every other weekend
Floating policy: Float to M/S and PCU for an assignment. May float to ER to task or take hold patients
Requested Skill Set: Critical Care experience
Must have: ACLS, BLS, NIH
Advanced skills needed: Experience with vents, arterial lines, titration drips, post craniotomy care, post cath lab patients
Dress Code: (Required uniform) ROYAL BLUE OR BLACK SCRUBS.
