**Overview**

As our RN Clinical Expeditor with our Virtual Health team, you will be a critical catalyst to continuously improve the care of our system's patients so they can receive their treatment quickly to help them on their road to recovery .

Every day you will work with our 8 hospitals to ensure that patients are receiving care timely. You will be expected to maintain situational awareness through observation of Mission Control's Wall of Analytics (WOA) which processes real-time data and predictive insights from multiple informational sources across the system. You will visualize the information reflected on the tiles and corresponding alerts to guide subsequent actions to aid hospital teams and enhance care delivery.

To be successful in this role, you must be eager to incorporate technology in improving patient outcomes. You will be able to identify and remove barriers in discharge and delays in care.

**Responsibilities**

+ Expedites, prioritizes, synchronizes and mediates (in real time) clinical issues, removes barriers to discharge and addresses delays in care; identifies potential issues so hospital staff can prioritize patient-care activities and discharges and mitigate potential bottlenecks before they occur.

+ Triages alerts and manages deviations from established patient care pathways; maintains ongoing situational awareness via investigation of the electronic medical record and additional clinical resources; responds, or coordinates response, consistent with established IPOMS guidelines and escalation protocols.

+ Provides leadership and works collaboratively with Mission Control Center team and other stakeholders to address, moderate and/or resolve real-time and predictive future patient flow and related issues.

+ Confers with multi-disciplinary leadership (e. g. acute care, care management, etc.) to identify effective strategies/approaches to reduce patient length of stay (LOS) and handle complex discharge patients, conditional discharge orders and related issues.

**Qualifications**

+ Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

+ 5 Years Of Clinical Experience in a hospital setting

+ Active RN license in good standing with the Washington Board of Nursing

**Pay Range**

$44.73 - $70.68 /hour
