Reporting to the Senior Director of Development and Alumni Relations, this position supports to the Senior Director and Directors of Development and Alumni Relations in the following schools and offices and their affiliated research centers: Hobson Wildenthal Honors College, Office of Graduate Education, Office of Student Affairs, Office of Undergraduate Education, School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences, School of Economic, Political and Policy Sciences, School of Interdisciplinary Studies, and School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. The successful candidate will work with the Senior Director and Directors of Development, other development and alumni relations staff, and colleagues across the university to support development and alumni relations activities.
Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree; one year administration experience; or any equivalent combination of relevant education, training & experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree. Preferred experience is at least one (1) year experience in higher education development. Candidates must also possess outstanding speaking, writing, and time-management skills. The position requires occasional evening/weekend hours and may require some travel. Salary will be commensurate with experience, education, and abilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Support the Senior Director and Directors of Development in their development work. Communicate regularly with donors and friends of the University to encourage philanthropic support. This may include work like organizing and attending meetings and writing meeting minutes, organizing events, working with vendors, drafting letters and proposals, processing requests for reimbursements, managing calendars, and entering actions into the development database.
Collaborate with other staff in the Office of Development and Alumni Relations, including alumni relations, annual giving, communications and marketing, corporate and foundation relations, donor relations, gift planning and research to support the Senior Director and Directors of Development.

Remote Work Notice:
Hybrid remote work environment available and a UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement is required upon employment. Use of personal computer and other standard office equipment may be required. Must be located within the State of Texas (or Must be located within the DFW Area) and have the ability to be on campus with 24 hours of notice.
