Certification Details
• BLS, PALS required
• ACLS preferred

Job Details
• Pediatric ICU RN 3x12s OR 4x12s
• Mixed-acuity unit - Ratios are 1:2 for PICU, 1:3 for PCU, 1:4 Acute - PICU RNs are expected to work across acuity spectrum
• 24 bed unit

Job Requirements
• 2 years of experience required (must have 2 years of PICU experience at a Level l Trauma Center)
• First-time travelers NOT accepted (unless they have 3+ years of experience at a Level l Trauma Center - PICU)
• Epic charting experience required

Schedule Information
• Call Requirements: May be placed on call for regularly scheduled shifts
• Weekend/Holiday Requirements: 3 weekend shifts per 4 week schedule period; if contract is over the summer holidays, must work one holiday
• Float Requirements: May be required to float to adult care areas, but only to perform tasks and Rover duties

Unit Specific Information
• This is a mixed-acuity unit
• PICU RNs are expected to work across acuity spectrum

Additional Details
• Locals Accepted: NO (candidate must be more than 100 miles from facility)
• Pending license accepted: Yes, but if license is not IN HAND at the time of submission then traveler will be booked six weeks out
• RTO restrictions: Up to two weeks of RTO permitted. RTO must be submitted with application. Additional requests after confirmation at manager discretion
• 100% NICOTINE FREE FACILITY
