Nutrition Assistant Essential Job Duties:
- Oversee procurement of food, supplies, and equipment for Nutrition Services.
- Maintain and update data in the CBORD system for inventory and production.
- Inspect food and supplies for quality and compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with leadership on procurement priorities and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and maintain confidentiality.
- Provide courteous and professional guest relations.
Education, Training & Experience
- Associate degree preferred in related field.
- Purchasing experience required.
- Basic accounting and good computer skills required.
- Food service experience preferred.
- Must meet and deal successfully with a wide variety of people.
- Must be accomplished in written and verbal communication.
- Must have exceptional follow-up skills.
- Must have keyboarding skills.
- Flexible in work schedule including travel.
