Licensed Clinical Social Worker Details
Essential Job Duties:
- Collaborates with the Inpatient Clinical Psychologist to provide behavioral health services to adult and pediatric inpatients and emergency department patients.
- Conducts timely assessments of patient needs through clinical interviews, chart/history reviews, and behavioral health testing.
- Screens patients for admission to behavioral health programs or community resources.
- Develops and documents behavioral health evaluations, treatment plans, and patient progress.
- Intervenes as a crisis counselor, collaborates with the multidisciplinary team, maintains confidentiality, and follows ethical standards.
Qualifications:
- Prefer at least 5 years' experience in providing counseling services.
- Must have basic knowledge of medical and psychological terminology.
- Available to work one Saturday or Sunday per month- 8am-4:30pm
License/Certification:
- Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology or Social Work from an accredited school/University.
- Must have Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Social Worker, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist license.
