Summary of Job Duties: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sports Athletic Trainer PRN to provide medical coverage for athletic events and promote injury prevention education. This role involves working closely with athletes, schools, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care and support. The Athletic Trainer will also assist with additional duties at UAMS as assigned, including coverage for UofA UREC sports events and community racing events on an as-needed basis.
Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree - Athletic Training
• NATABOC certification

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Strong background in sports medicine or athletic training.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with athletes, parents, and healthcare professionals.
• Commitment to upholding the highest standards of care and professionalism.

Additional Information:

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide medical coverage for athletic team events and special assignments.

• Serve as the primary liaison between the assigned school, parent/athlete, and healthcare providers.

• Offer injury prevention education and support to athletes.

• Perform other duties at UAMS as required to support the team and organization.

• Will provide medical coverage for UofA UREC sports events and community racing events on an as-needed basis
