Summary of Job Duties: The Senior Clinical Therapist at the NWA Psychiatric Research Institute (PRI) First Episode Psychosis Program will provide direct clinical services such as diagnostic assessment, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and crisis intervention to patients using evidence-based interventions. Direct and indirect clinical services are provided in the office unless remote work agreement is available upon hire.
The Senior Clinical Therapist works directly under the supervision of the Clinical Therapist Supervisor, Program Manager, and/or Clinic Medical Director. The Senior Clinical Therapist must have the ability to make decisions related to treatment planning. They must understand mental health diagnosis and treatment. Adaptable technological skills are required.
In addition, the Senior Clinical Therapist will be responsible for ongoing communications with their supervisor and other members of the treatment team. They complete clinical and administrative processes and documentation in compliance with relevant policies and procedures. They will participate in staff meetings, trainings, supervision, and continuing education activities as needed to maintain quality provision and coordination of care as well as professional licensure and/or certification.
Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
- Current and valid license by Arkansas Professional Board - Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor
Preferred Qualifications:
- One (1) year of direct clinical outpatient behavioral health experience
- Evidence-based treatment background, trauma-informed care model
