Travel Nurse Across America is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Indio, California.

Active CA license. Certs Required: BLS. Experience Required: 3 years. This L&D unit is split, with 7 beds in one area, and 9 beds in another. Ratio's are 2:1. Monitor techs watch all strips so that if a nurse is in with one patient her fetal monitor strip is being watched by another nurse. High risk is shipped out, this facility keeps idaibetics if not brittle, they also keep hypertension/toxemia patients and preterm over 34 weeks. Nurses will need to float to Mother/baby at times, but very seldom. Transition nurses attend deliveries. 75% of deliveries are done on day shift, night shift is much quieter. C-sections are done in surgery, which is right across the hall from L&D.
