Nuclear Medicine Supervisor Position Summary

The Nuclear Medicine Supervisor is responsible for the performance and quality control of all equipment and procedures performed. Responsible for all interaction with state and federal agencies. Ensures compliance of all regulatory guidelines.

Nuclear Medicine Supervisor Position Requirements

Education

• Graduation from an approved school of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Must be ARRT or CNMT certified.
• Must obtain license from the Maryland Board of Physician Quality Assurance to practice Nuclear Medicine Technology in the state of Maryland.

Experience

• Minimum 5-10 years as a Staff Nuclear Medical Technologist.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Nuclear Medicine Supervisor Schedule

• Day shift, Monday through Friday with alternating call.
• Schedule may expand to cover evening or weekend depending on patient demand. Shared call.
• All procedures must be completed by the end of the day. Overtime may be required.
• Expected to respond in the event of a disaster or radiation emergency.
• Demonstrates personal responsibility for maintaining a satisfactory attendance record.

Nuclear Medicine Supervisor Benefits

• At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non 12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.
