Clinical Instructor Position Summary



Supervises, evaluates and maintains Clinical Proficiency and attendance records. Ok all radiologic Technology Students, schedules students in various areas/rooms to maximize the educational experience. Supervises Students in the Clinical Setting and must be able to function as a staff technologist in Radiology capable of proficiently working in all X-ray areas.



Clinical Instructor Position Requirements



Education



    • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R).

    • Must maintain Maryland State Certification to practice Radiologic Technology in the state of Maryland and must follow all regulations as per those regulations.


Experience



    • Entry level. Must have 3 years experience as a Radiologic Technologist.


Clinical Instructor Work Schedule



    • Rotational schedules (day, evening and night shifts, including weekends and holidays).

    • On duty every other weekend.

    • Expected to rotate call availability.

    • Expected to work overtime in time of personnel shortages or emergencies.

    • Expected to respond in the event of a disaster.


Clinical Instructor Benefits
