Your Role:

• Serve as Engineer of Record for bikeway and green infrastructure street improvement projects, overseeing design and construction phases.
• Lead multi-disciplined teams in preparing construction drawings, specifications, calculations, and cost estimates.
• Manage feasibility studies and project development.
• Design sustainable green infrastructure systems including subsurface storage, infiltration systems, bioretention basis, bioswales, green streets, and constructed wetlands.
• Drive project success by managing budgets, schedules, and technical deliverables while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (master's preferred) in Civil, Environmental Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Registered PE in Washington or California.
• 10-15+ years of progressive experience conducting feasibility studies (concept through implementation) and green street infrastructure, bicycle, and pedestrian improvements for municipalities within CA and nationwide.
• Experience as Engineer of Record for the construction of bikeway and green infrastructure street improvements.
• Ability to lead a multi-disciplined team of engineers and designers in the preparation of construction, drawings, details, specifications, calculations, and engineers estimate of probable construction costs.
• Recent experience with the design of street and Class I/IV bicycle sustainable GI, including subsurface storage and infiltration, bioretention basins, bioswales, green streets, and constructed wetlands.
• Working knowledge of Caltrans Design standards and the latest bikeway design standards.
