Your Role:

Tetra Tech seeks a candidate in the New York City metropolitan area to manage complex hazardous material assessment and abatement programs.

Candidate will be responsible for mentoring and overseeing task managers and field team members.  They will serve as a client/account leader with a strong focus to maximize customer relations and identifying developing new business opportunities.  Candidate will be responsible for leading multi-disciplinary teams of building science professionals to execute work in a safe and cost-effective manner, while delivering customer satisfaction regarding project quality and completeness.

 

Qualifications:

10+ years demonstrated success capturing and executing complex environmental/hazardous material management programs in/around the New York City area.   Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing lead and asbestos is required.  

Desired skills in the ideal candidate include but are not limited to:

  • Strong leadership, client management, and business development skills.  
  • Self-starter with strong organizational management, communication, and project/program management abilities.    
  • Must have strong communication skills.
  • Must be customer-service focused. 

Education and Certification:

Bachelors or Masters of Science or Engineering, or related scientific field required, M.S. preferred.   Current asbestos and/or lead licensures required.  Certifications in CHMM, PG, PE, PMP a plus.  

Work Environment:

Flexible work schedule with regard to in-office/work-at-home potential.  Occasional on-site meetings at client locations, job sites will be required. 

The Salary Range for this position is $90,000 - $125,000, depending on education, experience, skills, and location.
