Project Summary:
PRO-telligent supports the U.S. Department of State Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement (INL) to implement a Justice Sector Assistance Program (JSAP) in the West Bank. It focuses on providing technical support, capacity-building and logistical support to key stakeholders in the Palestinian justice sector, including but not limited to law enforcement, the public prosecution, judicial institutions and security agencies.

Position Summary:
The Communications Specialist will be responsible for designing the project's branding materials across JSAP project activities. The Specialist will work closely with technical staff to ensure branding consistency and editing across all project-specific content, including public outreach, training materials and client reports and newsletters. The Specialist will ensure compliance with PRO-telligent and Tetra Tech Duty of Care Standards and will be supervised by the Deputy Chief of Team and will be based in Ramallah. This is a short-term position with a level of effort of 55 days through July 2025.
Responsibilities:
- Edit and format project reports and newsletters in English and Arabic.
- Lead design of materials for activities, workshops and trainings including slideshows, handouts, pamphlets, or other resources as required.
- Lead branding design for the project with the goal of establishing consistent and recognizable branding designated for public outreach.
- Contribute to the development of materials for public outreach including access to justice for underserved populations.
- Assist on other related duties as assigned by the Deputy Chief of Team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in communication, design, or a related field is required.
- Minimum two years of experience developing and designing a branding plan is required.
- Minimum four years related communication experience in development or civil society is preferred.
- Experience in graphic design for web-based and print-based media for public outreach required.
- Familiarity and experience working in the West Bank required.
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop required.
- Strong adaptability, communication, proactive problem-solving, service-oriented, and interpersonal skills required.
- Ability to work effectively and harmoniously under pressure in a stressful environment and with colleagues from different cultural and professional backgrounds required.
- Fluency in Arabic and proficiency in English required.
