Australia Awards in Indonesia (AAI)

Australia Awards Indonesia (AAI) is managed by Tetra Tech International Development on behalf of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). Australia Awards is an integral part of Australia's development cooperation program with Indonesia and has enjoyed strong support from both governments for more than sixty years. Australia Awards addresses two key challenges: to fill a gap in the pool of individuals with the higher-level capacity to contribute to Indonesia's development; and the need for a strong deep relationship based on mutual understanding between Australia and Indonesia.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Create and curate inclusive content for the website, podcasts, and multiple social media platforms and coordinate with the writers to produce scholars and alumni stories for various communications channels.
  • Coordinate the production and distribution of the weekly e-newsletter.
  • Record and track social media engagement rates related to the Australia Awards and subprogram activities that are published at the Australia Awards and DFAT social media platforms.
  • Coordinate the promotional efforts of the AAI Program through inclusive communication initiatives, while also overseeing the management of budgets and resources allocated to the communication activities.
  • Undertake any additional duties as may be required, within own skills and abilities.

 

Selection criteria

  • English, or a related communication field.
  • Any equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered.
  • Minimum of five years' experience in communication, social media marketing and digital content development and management.
  • Proven experience in designing and running successful campaigns for various social media platforms.
  • An understanding of the Australian Higher Education Sector.
  • High-level proficiency in spoken and written English and Indonesian.
