The Opportunity:
Tetra Tech is seeking an experienced Architectural Project/Design Manager to support our growing multidisciplinary design team in Florida. This role will focus on delivering high-quality architectural solutions for municipal, water/wastewater, industrial, and federal facility projects. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in design, Florida-specific code knowledge, and project leadership across diverse building types and infrastructure programs.

Your Impact:
As an Architectural Project/Design Manager, you'll lead design teams and collaborate across disciplines to deliver projects from concept through construction. You'll play a key role in driving technical excellence, meeting client needs, and mentoring junior staff, all while maintaining compliance with building codes and industry standards in the state of Florida.
Your Role:
- Manage architectural design teams and support multi-disciplinary project delivery
- Lead the development of design documents through all phases (concept, schematic, design development, construction documents)
- Oversee QA/QC, technical accuracy, and adherence to Florida building codes and ADA standards
- Coordinate closely with engineering staff across disciplines
- Ensure project schedules, budgets, and client expectations are met
- Prepare proposals, participate in business development, and maintain client relationships
- Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and related tools for planning and documentation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
- 10–15 years of architectural design experience
- Current Florida Architectural License required
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and permitting in Florida
- Proficiency in design software including AutoCAD and Revit
- Experience leading architectural teams on large, complex projects
