Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Burlington, Vermont.

Travel: $77.50 Radius: $72.50: 51-100 miles Local: $67.50: 50 miles or less Assignment is for 26-32 weeks - Vascular Access Team: RN for 12H Rotating day/ night, flexible to rotate to nights as needed; E/O weekend required; Viable candidates would be ER RNs, infusion RNs; 2 years in specialty required; Must have large, academic fac exp; Prior travel preferred; BLS required; PICC line placement is not a requirement but please note if traveler is certified. Adults and peds population; Required to float to place PIV, trouble shoot PIV and PICC lines, ports, dsg. changes, draw bloods as back up, etc; Place peripheral IVs at the bedside, remove PIVs, trouble shoot lines, completes dsg. changes, etc. They also access ports and help flush ports. We also have PICC RNs that place PICC lines at bedside; Must be able to assess PICC lines, complete dsg changes for PICCs and administer TPA as needed. EPIC experience within the last 12 months is required and nonnegotiable. No work hx with gaps over 30 days w/o explanation can be submitted; Must have Facility Type, EMR, and Bed Count filled out to submit, otherwise file will be rejected!! IVS to Interview/OFFER; Covid and flu declinations accepted- please have proof of both, or declinations in the submission packet. No block schedules for any reason. Public Transportation is NOT accessible in this area, please ensure you have reliable transportation, personal vehicle or rental vehicle are strongly recommended. Vehicles should be equipped with all season or snow tires during the months of November – April.
