Technician III - Heavy Equipment Mechanic   Sunstate Equipment Co.: Where Safety and People are Core Values! We take care of our People and it shows!   Hiring Immediately Pay dependent on Experience; PAID WEEKLY! Typical Schedule: Monday – Friday (Overtime Eligible) Pay Range: Dependent on Experience $25 - $33+ per hour, and discretionary quarterly branch performance bonus Location: this role will be based in our shop in Bryan, TX with the occasional need to maintenance or repair equipment in the field.   Exceptional Perks

Required Skills & Experience Sunstate is a proud Second Chance employer that evaluates every candidate on a case-by-case basis.

• You should have 3-5 years of experience troubleshooting and diagnosing malfunctions, and repairing a fleet of construction equipment. 
• Experience performing major and minor repairs on diesel and gas engines, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, as well as drive trains is required. 
• Must have the necessary tools you need to do the job; averaging $5,000+ in value.
• Inspect, service, and test equipment, ensuring performance to manufacturer specifications.
• Perform routine service on equipment which includes checking fluid levels, changing fluid and lubricating.
• Perform novice level welding repairs (MIG & SMAW).
• Prepare and maintain accurate records on the maintenance and repair of equipment, including warranty records.
• Team-player, you work well supporting your team to achieve goals. 
• You are a self-starter and motivated to be successful. Career growth is available!
