Summit Medical Staffing Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Dayton, Ohio.

+ $500 Travel 36 or 48 hour contract Their application MUST show some 1:5 ratio experience in the Work History section for SD or PCU, otherwise, the managers will not review it. Be sure this is added to the application prior to submitting in order to avoid delay. Also note, ICU exp does not count towards SD/PCU exp at this facility, therefore, you MUST have SD/PCU experience to be considered. **Targeted patient ratios are 1:5-6** Must have the following requirements: EPIC experience Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment BLS, NIH required, ACLS preferred - must be able to read and interpret strips IV Start Nurses will be fitted for N95 prior to working on the HRRU unit unless PAPR is offered/needed. 1.5 years exp and some level 1 or 2 preferred Travel experience preferred Floating and Other Requirements: Traveler will be first to float at Premier's discretion. Agency will float in/out of specialty clusters. It will be assigned a medically appropriate assignment or support the nursing care team of the unit floated to, including high-risk respiratory unit/COVID. Unit Details: Advanced Care Unit: Typical patients are heart failure, chest pain rule out, NSTEMI, post -procedure patients, COPD exacerbation, drug/ETOH overdose and withdrawal. RN s must be competent to run IV drips such as heparin, nitroglycerin, amiodarone, Cardizem, insulin, cardizem, etc. Daily average census: 31 Navy Blue Scrubs RTO Request RTO with initial submittal; NO RTO will be added after the offer. RTO approval will be at the Manager's discretion. Submittal email must include application and current Nursys report, and other certs are not needed if listed on the application.
