At Stifel Equity Capital Markets, Vice Presidents are primarily responsible for leading execution on book run transactions including IPOs, Follow-ons and PIPEs. VPs works closely with senior bankers on origination and have the opportunity to develop close investor relationships.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Work on multiple projects and transactions at any given time in a fast-paced environment
• Work closely with senior-level bankers across the firm and play a critical role in originating and executing equity and equity-linked transactions
• Support the deal process from origination to execution
• Build a strong network of relationships in healthcare investor community including venture, cross-over and public funds
• Help manage, train and staff team of analysts and associates in ECM

• 4-5 years of experience in Equity Capital Markets with a focus on Healthcare
• Significant deal experience including managing deal teams and wall-crossing investors
• Detail-oriented with an exceptional work ethic and high level of professionalism
• Self-motivated with a desire to build network and engage in the healthcare community to help drive origination
• Ability to work with a high level of autonomy and supervise the work of junior team members
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in finance or related field required
• 4-5 years of investment banking and equity capital markets

• Actively held and in good standing with SIE Exam, Series 7, and Series 63 licenses (or must be obtained within 6 months of employment)

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including but not limited to PowerPoint and Excel
