Description
Stifel's Human Resources specializes in compensation, benefits, employee relations, talent acquisition, and strategic planning and development. The department strives to balance associate needs and Stifel's overall business goals while ensuring compliance with regulatory, federal, state, and local requirements.
The HR Intern provides assistance to the Human Resources department in day to day operations. This position assists the HR Department in various tasks including communications, university relations, talent acquisition, HRIS, benefits, compensation, employee relations, and employee training and development.
What We're Looking For
- Support Campus Recruiting with summer intern program events.
- Assist with sourcing efforts and build talent pipelines using a variety of tools and our applicant tracking system.
- Assist with HR Communications projects, as requested.
- Assist with coordinating new hire orientation and other Training department tasks.
- Assist with responding to team member inquiries regarding HR policies, employee benefits, and other HR related questions.
- Assist with HRIS file management.
- Conduct research, compile data, and implement ideas for various assigned projects throughout HR.
What You'll Bring
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated track record of achievement in academics and extracurricular activities.
Education & Experience
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Human Resources or a related field with at least 1 year of college completed.
Systems & Technology
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
