Overview

Come work as part of the Department of Vermont Health Access (DVHA) Organizational Change Management (OCM) team focused on employee engagement and workplace culture. This position is focused on providing supervisor and staff support for our eligibility units in a variety of ways including facilitating presentations, mentoring and coaching, and reward/recognition. This position also has involvement in recruitment/retention, onboarding, and professional development. Serve as a member on our department's Culture Committee, contribute on exciting projects/initiatives, and be part of positive change at DVHA! You'll have the work/life balance you need with a Monday-Friday flexible schedule and a supportive hybrid work environment. This includes eleven paid state holidays, in addition to a robust benefits package.

AHS BACKGROUND CHECKS:  Candidates must pass any level of background investigation applicable to the position.  In accordance with AHS Policy 4.02, Hiring Standards, Vermont and/or national criminal record checks, as well as DMV and adult and child abuse registry checks, as appropriate to the position under recruitment, will be conducted on candidates, with the exception of those who are current classified state employees seeking transfer, promotion or demotion into an AHS classified position or are persons exercising re-employment (RIF) rights.

Environmental Factors

Duties are performed in a standard office setting. Travel may be involved for which private means of transportation must be available. Short notice of critical meetings, quick deadlines for important reports, and need for sensitive communication under challenging and difficult situations required. Must be able to communicate and interact directly and communicate with all employees at varying levels of authority within the State of Vermont sometimes under highly stressful conditions.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree AND three (3) years or more of experience in organizational change management or organizational development that includes experience in the basic concepts of process improvement, strategic planning, organizational redesign, change management, and performance analysis

OR

Associate's degree AND five (5) years or more of experience in organizational change management or organizational development that includes experience in the basic concepts of process improvement, strategic planning, organizational redesign, change management, and performance analysis
