- A hospital in Washington is looking for an experienced MedSurg/Tele RN for a travel contract.
- The right candidate will have 2 full years of experience, hold an active BLS, ACLS and WA License.

- 2 full years of experience as a MedSurg/Tele RN
- Active BLS
- Active ACLS
- Active WA License or Compact License
- Schedule Information
- 12 Hours shifts (Days = 0700-1930, Nights = 1900-0730)
- Weekend Requirement: Every Other
- Holidays: Yes
- Unit Specific Information
- Nurse Aides typically 4-5 per shift
- Ratios: 5:1
- Nurses are responsible for reviewing Tele monitor strips
- Common diagnosis/Types of patients include: CHF, COPD, Cellulitis, ETOH Withdrawal, Kidney, Dementia
- Do nurses read strips? We have monitor techs, but nurses are responsible for reviewing.
- Drips include: Heparin, Cardizem, Insulin (Not DKA protocol), Narcotics (Comfort)
- Vents: No
- Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Yes
- IV Team: Cross Shift SWAT team to assist
- RT 24/7: Yes
- Pharmacy 24/7: Yes
- Floor specific orientation: Yes
