A large hospital in Arizona is looking for experienced ER/Emergency Room RNs for a travel assignment.
The right candidate will have 2 years of experience, hold an active BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC.

Active AZ license or compact
Must have 1 year of trauma level 1 experience; will screen 8 months+
Must have Cerner experience
No first time travelers
**DAY 1 PASS FAIL EXAM: STUDY GUIDE PROVIDED WITH FDI
PASS FAIL SIMs Lab: All RNs will be expected to complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion & central line dressing changes

Unit: ED / Trauma
# beds: Acute - 36 and Subacute - 54. Trauma bays - 6 (no travelers)
Ratios: 1:4 ratio
EMR: Cerner
Charge Nurse: 2 Charge RNs - will task or have light patient load
Nurse Aides: 4-PCTs for sitters
Scrub Color: Navy
Tele: Phillips monitors, must be able to read strips
Vents: Managed by RT
Hospitalist or Intensivists in house: Minimum of 2 MDs or as many as 8. Midlevels also utilized.
IV Team: Core RNs are US trained
RT 24/7: Yes
Pharmacy 24/7: Yes, Pharmacist in ER 10hrs/day
Floor specific orientation: 2-3 shifts on the floor
Floating: Float within ER

Medical Solutions Pre-Screens, if clinical recommends AUTO OFFER
Candidate is required to pass DYS exam PRIOR to accepting. 2 attempts
