SBH Health System -St. Barnabas Hospital is a 460+ bed, non-profit, acute care community hospital. We are a New York State designated Stroke Center, AIDS Center, and regional Trauma Center. Our campus is located in south-central Bronx, steps away from the renowned Arthur Avenue, Fordham University, Bronx Botanical Gardens and the Bronx Zoo. SBH is commuter-friendly, accessible from all areas within the New York City boroughs, Westchester County, Long Island, Hudson Valley, Connecticut and New Jersey.
The Department of Emergency Medicine is committed to educational excellence and has established strong teaching foundation for medical programs throughout New York. Emergency Medicine Department is seeking board certified or board eligible educators, clinicians, and healthcare leaders who are committed in advancing the specialty and practice of Emergency Medicine.
Responsibilities for this role include clinical, administrative, and progressive research. SBH Health System - St. Barnabas Hospital is the primary teaching hospital of CUNY's Sophie Davis Medical School, and is affiliated with multiple medicine programs including Albert Einstein, NYCOM, NYIT, Touro College.
