Solution Engineer Director, West Region
Location: Remote. Oregon
Get To Know The Team:
To support our Americas West region, which entails central and west, we are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to lead the Solution Engineering team for this region. This team of commercially minded software consultants is responsible for driving value through our engagements with customers and partners in the sales process.
In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the best possible alignment within the team, according to a structured and measurable/qualified approach, for a high-touch customer experience on qualifying accounts, you will also be expected to partner with your regional RVP of Sales and focus on specific named strategic accounts helping build relationships and evangelizing Blue Prism within these accounts.
Solution Engineering Director should be an experienced sales engineering professional, adept at defining solutions that meet the business and technical requirements of Blue Prism's customers as well as the sales motions involved to assist sales hitting their targets. Director will play a critical role in ensuring overall revenue retention and growth within our strategic accounts and ensuring team skills are maintained as well as ensuring alignment to other organizations such as product engineering, customer office…etc. This role is responsible for generating revenue, securing customers, mentoring and direct reports, and fostering a healthy work environment and culture.

What You Will Get To Do:
Ownership of West Quota as well as overall Solution Engineer Quota
Track quarterly sales performance and ensure Solution Engineer alignment; engage with clients as needed to assist with opportunities in flight
Working with Product Team to advise and bring solutions to market seamlessly and with agility
Good stakeholder management skills – ability to work collaboratively in a fast moving and complex environment
Strong commercial aptitude – sales discipline, qualification principles, sales process & methodology
Meaningful sales experience in selling with and through global Systems Integrators
Coordinate and champion sales campaigns with marketing, sales team, partner managers, TAP, and partners
Achieve sales goals
Foster teamwork and mentorship among the Sales Engineering team to encourage solution sharing and knowledge transfer
Responsible for identifying staffing needs and building team
Interface with Product Development and Marketing do drive collateral and product features required for achievement of sales revenue goals
Responsible for directing team to build required sales collateral (i.e. reference architectures, use cases, and object inventories)
Last but not the least, deliver and exceed on all performance targets
What You Will Bring:
Proven track record in a leadership role, building, maintaining, supporting and upskilling the team
Technical background with both pre and post sales or professional services track record within an application software company or business solutions organization.
Strong existing knowledge of Blue Prism value proposition and go-to-market approach is a plus
A strong appreciation of Enterprise software values and associated buyer behavior
Sound commercial competencies including qualification, sales process, strategic account planning, etc
Multiple years' experience working in and leading a Solution Consulting team
Proven sales achievement and sales recognition

Serve as Trusted Advisor
Ability to build long-term relationships both internally with the team and externally with clients and partners
Technical knowledge of enterprise applications
Enterprise Architecture experience desired with strong knowledge of various technologies and virtualization
3+ years of experience in a related function is required, including managing a team
Successfully managed customer engagements to completion
Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving skills, combined with the ability to provide quick resolution to problems
Exceptional verbal and written organizational, presentation, and communication skills
Must be customer service oriented and believe in teamwork, collaboration, adaptability & Initiative
Demonstrable success in thinking strategically, executing tactically while providing consistent and high levels of customer satisfaction and retention in a fast-paced environment

Willingness to travel based on customer and business need
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
