Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree. 
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience, particularly in DoD acquisition and programmatic support
  • Proficiency with Microsoft software that produces program schedules is a must. 
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance with the ability to maintain throughout time of employment

Desired Qualification:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Navy radar or AEGIS combat system


Responsibilities

SPA is seeking a junior or mid-level Acquisition Analyst to provide acquisition and programmatic support to the MK-59 program within the Navy's Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems, Above Water Sensors Directorate (PEO IWS 2.0). A remote environment is acceptable; however, you must have the ability to travel to various DC area locations and NSWC Crane regularly. Travel up to 20% of the time (2-3 times per month) is possible.

 

You will directly support the MK-59 Assistant Program Manager (APM) for emergent MK-59 tasks that include stakeholder briefs, cost analysis data calls, and Program Office deliverables. You will support establishing and maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule for the MK-59 program and should expect to coordinate, host, and/or attend meetings and briefings related to the MK-59 program as contractor representation for Mk-59 APM. You will coordinate and participate in program meetings ensuring that accurate meeting minutes are captured, action items are tracked, and minutes/action items are maintained.
You will support maintenance and updating of a MK-59 program briefing repository to be accessible by the MK-59 program.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.  Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  Washington, DC Pay Transparency Range:  $75,000 – $95,000.
