Responsibilities

SPA is seeking multiple dedicated Program Management Analysts to support Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane (NSWC Crane).

 

The Program Management Analyst is responsible to the government Program Manager for the overall planning, direction, and management of major programs and initiatives within the organization. These programs are typically large, multi-year efforts that are divided into several sub-programs or tasks, and the Program Manager is responsible for defining the program's objectives, developing short and long-term plans, and formulating and guiding the technical approach. This position will support the Program Manager in reaching these objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Assist in development and management of the overall program definition, organization, and direction of short and long-term plans
  • Formulate, guide, and assist with the technical approach for the program
  • Manage technical milestones, schedules, budgets, and costs
  • Assist in securing necessary resources for the program, including personnel, budget, and equipment
  • Manage risks and issues that may arise during the course of the program
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Communicate program progress and status to stakeholders
  • Manage changes to the program's scope, schedule, or budget
  • Lead and manage a team of project managers and technical staff, as applicable

 A hybrid work environment is allowed, but you must have the ability to regularly work on-site at NSWC Crane, Indiana.
