Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 10+ years in Undersea Warfare assignments or 7+ years experience in national security decision making (at NSC or Interagency level)
- Experience as an senior staffer, Executive Assistant, Military Assistant or Chief of Staff to a DoD or IC senior executive or flag officer
- Experience leading teams in developing rigorous analytic solutions to top-level government and military issues and addressing client questions and issues
- Exercising independent judgment and ability to work autonomously without supervision
- Current DOD Secret security clearance, and the ability to maintain it throughout employment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Team Submarine
- Experience with Foreign Military Sales
- Experience with Pentagon, NSC and Hill stakeholders
- DAWIA acquisition experience
Responsibilities
The candidate will work as the AUKUS Staff Officer supporting the AUKUS leadership team. Responsibilities will include strategic planning to SES and flag leadership, front office management, coordinating program wide task tracking, coordinating with front office staffs of Pentagon and foreign partners, and ensuring quality of AUKUS leadership deliverables.
