Responsibilities
SPA is seeking an experienced Legislative Affairs Analyst to support the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Acquisition (ASD(A)). The analyst will monitor the status of and review congressional products including Defense-related legislation, committee reports, and hearing materials, and assess impacts on all programs in the ASD(A) portfolio. The analyst will also draft and coordinate responses to congressional requests for information, prepare congressional testimony for OUSD(A&S) leadership, support the annual rollout of the President's Budget, and prepare Statements of Administration Policy, impact statements, and appeals.
