
Description
The role of the Regional Vice President is to develop/facilitate the continued growth of each Contract Sales Specialist in Greater China to drive sales revenue and maximize profitability. The responsibilities range from leading, motivating, training, and directing the team to accomplish their territory, regional and divisional goals. A key responsibility of the RVP is the implementation, development, and management of all systems and programs set forth by the Contract Division.
Responsibilities:
Develop short and longer term national and regional sales strategy to drive growth and profitability aligned with corporate objectives.
Achieve Team sales goals/targets
Recruit, train, coach, develop, manage and retain professional salespeople and leaders
Communicate sales strategy to sales team and laterally to other departments. Drive execution of sales strategy.
Work closely with dealer management, branch managers and team managers. Build strong with key customers to facilitate sales growth
Coordinate team selling efforts with strategic account teams, dealer teams, Shaw local sales teams
Facilitate communication and teamwork throughout the sales team and division
Maintain a clear understanding of Shaw Industries' internal/external procedures to help address any problems that arise
Set the pace and high level of expectations through goals and objectives with sales team. Set the direction for the team on a constant basis and consistently measure the results.
Provide sales budget analysis and adjust account assignments as needed
Identify new project opportunities by reviewing reports and assign sales leads
Should allocate appropriate time to travel with each sales leader and provide coaching and feedback.
Conduct or assist with presentations to educate end-users, architects, designers, etc.…
Analyze sales statistics and formulate goals for the sales force as well as the company
Entertain clients as needed through lunches or dinners
Qualifications:
Experience managing a professional sales team regionally or nationally in China required
Relevant industry experience required
Demonstrated experience creating strategic sales plan to meet corporate objectives
Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets
Experience working with a multinational corporation preferred
English fluency required
Must be able to travel domestically >50%
Occasional international travel required
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

1. Must have a valid passport
2. Must have authorization to work in China
3. Good organization skills, be able to set business goals & budgets and measure results.
