Position Overview:
We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to support our Human Resources team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain real-world HR experience in a manufacturing setting. You'll work alongside experienced professionals in areas such as talent acquisition, onboarding, employee engagement, total rewards, compliance, training, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with recruiting efforts, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews
Support new hire onboarding processes and orientation sessions
Maintain and update employee records as needed
Help coordinate employee engagement activities and wellness initiatives
Assist in tracking training completion and organizing sessions for team members
Participate in HR projects related to performance management
Shadow HR professionals to learn about labor relations, workforce planning, and HR practices
Support the Total Rewards team in research and analysis of compensation trends, market data, and internal salary structures
Assist with benefits administration tasks
Contribute to the development of wellness and recognition programs that support employee satisfaction and retention
Preferred Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Organizational Psychology or a related field
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Interest in compensation, benefits, or HR data analytics is a plus
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Previous internship or experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment a plus (not required)
