Position Overview: 
We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to support our Human Resources team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain real-world HR experience in a manufacturing setting. You'll work alongside experienced professionals in areas such as talent acquisition, onboarding, employee engagement, total rewards, compliance, training, and more. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with recruiting efforts, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews 

  • Support new hire onboarding processes and orientation sessions 

  • Maintain and update employee records as needed 

  • Help coordinate employee engagement activities and wellness initiatives 

  • Assist in tracking training completion and organizing sessions for team members 

  • Participate in HR projects related to performance management 

  • Shadow HR professionals to learn about labor relations, workforce planning, and  HR practices 

  • Support the Total Rewards team in research and analysis of compensation trends, market data, and internal salary structures 

  • Assist with benefits administration tasks 

  • Contribute to the development of wellness and recognition programs that support employee satisfaction and retention 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Organizational Psychology or a related field 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

  • Interest in compensation, benefits, or HR data analytics is a plus 

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion 

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) 

  • Previous internship or experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment a plus (not required)
