- Special Requirements: Scheduling weeks are Monday – Sunday. Night shift scheduling allows travelers to be scheduled for the night before their RTO starts. Travelers rotate on a 6-week schedule; shifts guaranteed off are those pre-approved in contracts. Travelers are scheduled by the schedulers, not self-scheduled.
- Job Requirements
- PICU RN with a minimum of 2 years experience working independently in a 20 bed PICU or larger
- First-timers accepted: Yes
- Weekend Requirement: Yes required, working about half of the number of weekends during the time they are contracted
- Clinicians may need to float within scope to meet facility needs and complete one orientation shift in the CICU to float during their assignment
- Schedule Information
- Shift: 4x12 or 3x12 Day/Night Rotating OR Straight Nights
- RTO: One holiday grouping off allowed (2 out of 4 specified days). Cannot request Christmas Eve/Christmas off.
- RTO Restrictions: No RTO during first 2 weeks due to orientation
