String Cheese Specialist
Shift: M-F 10p to 6a
Wage grade: $19.64 + $1.00 night shift
Position Purpose: (Refer to Position Description guidelines for assistance).
Tend the various lines by weighing, trimming, feeding and packing finished product. Facilitate quick changeovers by cleaning, emptying trays and tubs, and assisting where needed. Overtime as required by customer requirements. Other duties may be assigned.
Eligibility Requirements:
Must have less than 3% absenteeism at the close of the job bid posting period.
Must not be under current probationary period due to any active disciplinary action.
Must have an overall Successful or better rating on their performance assessment. Essential Functions: (Follow guidelines carefully when completing this section to ensure ADA compliance). Frequency # Times Per Shift 1
Work with leaders and fellow partners to ensure Food Safety and Partner Safety. Understand and execute standard operating procedures relative to position. Perform all PCP and CCP checks required for position. Follow reaction plan for Food Safety, Food Quality, and customer requirement outages and by contacting TA/TL. Be able to identify and understand customer requirements and assist in assuring proper operation and product. Record accurate data on production reports. Daily Continuous
2 Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices and good housekeeping guidelines. Must follow safety guidelines, wear designated Personal Protective Equipment, and meet OSHA safety requirements.

3 Must be able to identify and understand customer requirements. Daily Continuous 4
Open bad packages for rework, salvage or scrap. Daily 5%
5 Must be able to read production orders, while remaining flexible to change to meet customer needs. Daily 5%
6 Communicate any deviations in production schedule. Daily As needed
7 Inspect packages for defects such as cheese in the end seal, torn or miss aligned package cuts, proper label and code date. Inspect finished product (code date, flaps, and damage). Daily 10%
8Assist in color, size and style changes, remove product, empty trays and tubs and assist in cleanup of equipment. Daily 10%
9 Maintain Process Control Points, record data accordingly. Daily 15%
10 Required to work overtime when necessary to meet customer requirements and company needs.(over 40 hours for full time partners) Weekly As needed
11 Log finished pallets and apply stickers, tape, etc. Daily 5%
12 Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios and percentages. Create and interpret graphs and charts. Weekly Continuous
13 Must be able to perform all essential duties on assigned line. Must be able to rotate through and perform all functions for each of those positions. Daily

14Must be able to bend over, squat, twist and stoop during the performance of work duties. Daily Continuous
15 Maintain throughputs on the line by rotating through all specialist positions – Scraping, Rapid Pack, Drake, Doboy (folding and placing), casing and palletizing. Daily 50%
16 All other duties as assigned by leader. As needed
Other:
Must be able to demonstrate the ability to perform the essential and non-essential tasks related to the job. Successful Partners must follow and maintain PCP's and Safety Procedures.
Must be able to routinely lift up to 40 pounds.
The General Plant Partner (GPP) position is not line or departmental specific.
It is the Team Advisors discretion to assign partners to the various lines.
This will be based on Skill, Knowledge, or Availability of Training Time.
All GPP's must be cross-functional.
