Job Category: Sales Job Family: International Sales Job Description: About the Job: Developmental Sales role focused on gaining an understanding of sales management processes and executing those processes to profitably grow business and achieve business plan. Develop customer relationships and create customer value to meet customer expectations. Role & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for selling to assigned customers. Develop relationships and understand voice of the customer to onboard new accounts and/or expand existing accounts.
- Work cross-functionally within Schreiber to understand programs and policies to meet customer's needs.
- Comprehensive follow through internally as well as externally to customer to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Manage assigned customers end to end, from the Sale through the handling of the order and any related quality or service issues.
- Build internal relationships and gain an understanding of key business processes in order to effectively communicate and execute to customer expectations.
- Follow-up on new leads and referrals and determine viability of business and fit within our capabilities as an organization.
- Focused on utilizing negotiation skills to sell toward a price.
- Communicate appropriate results through dashboards and other metrics to demonstrate results and opportunities.
- Provide timeline information necessary to all internal Schreiber departments to meet customer requests (i.e., forecasting, quality, etc.).
- Develop product knowledge to ensure thorough understanding of all product category offerings to customers.
- Together with the leadership team, ensures compliance with Food Safety and Food Quality Plans, in addition to customer requirements. Interprets and communicates customer requirements to plant production and/or support groups. Establishes and audits Standard Operating Procedures to define and monitor processes, to ensure customer requirements are met. Reviews incidents during which the procedures are not met, and determines appropriate corrective action for partners failing to follow standard procedures.
Key Ingredients:
- Bachelors in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in Sales or comparable, with business internship
- Ability to develop customer relationships and create customer value
- Strong leadership skills
- Self-starter, takes initiative to develop plan and execute
- Highly motivated to achieve financial results
- Ability to engage customers and demonstrate value
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organization skills with high sense of urgency
