SAIC currently has an opening for a Training Analyst specializing in the development of Navy Training System Plans (NTSPs) in the Virginia Beach/Norfolk, VA area. In this position you would provide technical manpower and training support to the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic (formerly known as Space and Naval Warfare Center (SPAWAR)) organization with a focus on manpower and training for the Navy Surface and Subsurface ship classes. Develops problem resolution options based on thorough knowledge of the situation, globally, as well as internally, utilizing quantitative and qualitative theory and principles to develop viable options. The selected candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to utilize former Navy training and/or technical background. This is a Remote role, but needs to be local to Virginia Beach/Norfolk area for onsite needs

JOB DUTIES:
- Overseeing the development, production, and validation of Manpower and Training requirements documentation, and assisting in shaping its progress through stakeholder and leadership review and approvals in a constantly changing environment.
- Review and update System and Class Level NTSPs.
- Provides technical and training assessment reviews of Front End Analysis (FEAs), and NTSPs.
- Researches ship specifications and systems and analyze manpower and training requirements including optimal manning and training throughput for curriculum.
- Conducts analysis to determine the MP&T impacts of proposed improvements/alterations.
- Determines training requirements for new equipment/system upgrades and develop training strategies for new/updated training.
- Provides Program and Surface Ship Availability manpower and training planning and tracking.
- Provides technical documentation reviews for Availability Manpower, Personnel, and Training Plans for the Fleet.
- Provide curriculum review and update support.
- Assists with coordinating various milestones and events as well as communicate with senior level civilian and military personnel.
- Position involves analyzing ship engineering and combat system upgrades to determine manpower and training impacts and solutions.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors and three (3) years or more of related experience; Masters and one year of related experience. High School diploma or equivalent and seven (7) years or more experience may be applied in lieu of Bachelors.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must have an Active Secret Clearance
- 3+ years' experience in the Manpower and Training field.
- Full working knowledge of the Human Analysis & Requirements Planning System (HARPS)
- Must be task and customer oriented.

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
