SAIC has an immediate opening for a Systems Integrator that is highly motivated and capable of working closely with the customer Program Manager on a critical mission-enabling activity. The successful candidate will bring extensive experience covering a wide range of programmatic skills including cost, schedule and performance aspects of program execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and document draft architecture components including current and target architectural views, associated standards, and transition plans
- Collect, validate, analyze, and document user requirements. Develop and allocate system requirements and maintain traceability between user and system requirements
- Develop and validate system interface descriptions within program components with other internal and external customer systems
- Review and contribute to the development and maintenance of program CONOPS
- Develop design concepts that are consistent with architectural guidance and industry best practices and analyze the cost, schedule and performance implications of these design concepts Contribute to the development of Statements of Work and associated requirements documents for development efforts
- Assist in the coordination and planning for program and organizational engineering review boards and other technical forums and participate in those meetings, providing agendas, presentations and minutes as required
- Identify and evaluate opportunities to improve system effectiveness or efficiency through the adoption of new applications, technologies, processes and techniques Assist with the assessment of all development project deliverables
- Provide independent assessments of project technical risk including risk definition, risk assessment, prioritizing the risks, and proposed risk mitigation
- Analyze technical challenges within their area of expertise, propose recommended courses of action and document the findings and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Must currently hold a TS/SCI and Poly
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 9 years of relevant experience
- Experience with the development and monitoring of program strategic plans
- Experience developing and maintaining project management plans addressing scope, resources, cost, schedule, system performance metrics, program management approach, technical delivery approach, and security
- Experience developing and implementing essential program management processes, including requirements, resources, schedules, configuration, and risk management processes
- Evaluate current business processes. Investigate applicable process and technology trends that apply to the program and design, engineer and implement improvements
- Ability to support technical communications and business management efforts within the program office and with other stakeholders
Desired Skills:
- Experience working with Agile software development management
- Experience collaborating with technical writers and technical program policy representatives
- Familiarity with JIRA, Microsoft Office, Confluence, Web Content Management, Skype, VTCs.
