SAIC is seeking a System Administrator to join our team in Pearl City, Hawaii.  

Responsibilities: 

• Responsibilities involve performing day-to-day customer-facing operational maintenance, support, and upgrades for complex operating systems, workstations and servers on a classified network.  
  
• Troubleshoot basic networking issues and service interruptions.  
  
• Develop, provide, maintain virtual infrastructure and tools. 
  
• Continually monitors and tunes multiple systems to achieve optimum performance levels. 
  
• Work daily within the Overmatch Software Armory (OSA) environment to utilize tools such as Jira, Confluence, etc. 

Qualifications

Required Education:

Bachelors and two (2) years or more experience; Masters and zero (0) years or more experience; four (4) years of experience considered in lieu of degree. 

Qualifications:

• Experience working in a virtual environment
• Familiarity with vSphere/VMware products and infrastructure
• Experience with Windows 10/Windows Server 2019
• Experience working in Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment
• Some Networking experience (SND, firewalls, application proxies/load balancers)
• Experience with Agile workflow methodologies/Jira, including dividing up large tasks into smaller sprints/iterations 

Certifications:

Security+ certification is required prior to first day of employment

Clearance: 

Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a full Secret clearance; Minimum of an Interim Secret clearance required to start

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
