SAIC is seeking a Solutions Architect to provide SETA support to SAIC's Prime Program, Landmark AOS in Chantilly, VA. Landmark AOS is a large SETA program, supporting the NRO's Ground Enterprise Directorate (GED), responsible for the acquisition of systems over the complete end-to-end life cycle.
Job responsibilities include:
- Work closely with technical and management personnel to conduct enterprise and system-level software architecture analysis, evaluation, design, integration, and documentation
- Facilitate development and assessment of systems architecture models and products, including acquisition and management documentation and guidance
- Guide stakeholders in preparing, authoring, and implementing management plans and white papers on topics related to architecture and systems engineering
- Coordinate mission engineering activities across multiple space system offices
- Facilitate development and assessment of systems architecture models and products, including acquisition and management documentation and guidance
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to architectural product deliverables and development contractor proposed solutions
- Develop briefings and documentation material for client engagements and products
- Assist the client in performing day-to-day technical and non-technical program execution activities
- Communicate strategies, plans, summaries, successes, concerns, issues, and lessons learned with leadership
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelors and eighteen (18) years or more experience; Masters and sixteen (16) years or more experience; PhD or JD and fifteen years or more experience. Relevant experience to be substituted in lieu of degree.
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a Polygraph.
- Experience accessing and evaluating complex software-intensive systems and making recommendations to management about incorporating systems into the enterprise architecture.
- Familiarity with IC and/or DoD space and ground architectures and systems.
- Experience developing and maintaining Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) models and artifacts.
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide teams towards self-organization and continuous improvement.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and foster collaboration.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Experience in software development or related technical domains is a plus.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and verbal/written communication skills, with ability to convey information across multiple customer and corporate audiences.
- Prior NRO Experience a PLUS!
