SAIC's Space & Intel Business Group, USG Mission and Information Technology Division, is seeking a Software Project Manager to provide project management and technical support to manage projects and to perform software development activities within budget. The associated program office provides correlation services to allow other enterprise systems to search very large scale data repositories for key nuggets of information related to persons and organization. This position is in Chantilly, VA and requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
Responsibilities include:
- Work with Lean Agile methodology.
- Participate in all Lean Agile scrums, sprints and grooming sessions.
- Manage the progress of Commercial-off-the-Shelf (COTS) product integration and development efforts.
- Ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
- Consult and coordinate appropriately for problem resolution, task scheduling, new resource requirements, and task clarification.
- Work in partnership with an integrated team of staff and contractors.
- Understand the Customer's target environment, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.
- Coordinate and collaborate with security, operations, testing, and other teams to provide system information and technical support.
- Create, manage, and update Jira tickets.
- Design, develop, and modify software systems.
- Unit test their software and perform code reviews.
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph.
- Bachelor's and 14 years or more experience; Master's and 9 years or more experience.
- Note: Additional professional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- Demonstrated experience in the following:
- Working in an Agile development environment.
- Developing detailed design and associated deliverables.
- Translating customer and system requirements into design.
- Designing interfaces or processes using Python.
- Designing and developing services using Lambda, SQS, and other cloud offerings within AWS.
- Developing applications using React, Spring Boot, Spark, and Java.
- Developing web services using Java 8+ and JavaScript.
- Coud platforms such as AWS/AZURE to include automated setting up of infrastructure such as instances.
- Understanding of data collections and storage tools such as Databricks and AWS S3.
- Correlation algorithms from Novetta Entity Analytics.
- Working with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, or Nexus.
