Qualifications

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Sciecne with fourteen (14) years' experience; Master of Science and twelve (12) years' experience; Additional six (6) years' of related work experience can be considered in lieu of degree.

Clearance Requirements:

• Must have an active Secret security clearance with the ability to maintain; US Citizenship required.

Required Experience/Skills:

• Experience as SW architect or lead with focus on SW development and integration into complex systems.
• Strong knowledge of SW architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with SW modernization efforts.
• Proficient in C++ or Python.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think both strategically and critically.
• Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present complex subjects in a simple manner.
• Agile SW development
• Experience with distributed, embedded, systems including RTOS.
• Software Safety in a MIL-STD-882E context.
• Ability to mentor software engineers on correct architecture, design, and implementation processes.
  
• Experience in architecture paradigms, modeling languages and tools.
