SAIC is seeking a Service Relationship Manager (SRM) to work closely with Government Product Owners and their teams to manage the requirements, priorities, enhancements of their systems and applications, plus any problem tickets, issues and concerns they may raise. This is a challenging position that requires strong communication skills and the ability to work with senior stakeholders across the organization. The successful candidate must be comfortable developing project plans, tracking progress, manage development priorities, coordinate TEMs, fix issues and find solutions. The SRM will be directly responsible and customer-facing for coordinating across program teams to find solutions, provide technical updates, manage and track issue resolution, document and report progress, planning, executing, and communicating project timelines.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage development of stakeholder priorities, milestones, and ensure successful project completion.
- Facilitate requirements discussions and TEMs
- Responsible for facilitating the process to collect and define client requirements
- Ensure the Schedule and lead customer and stakeholder sessions for the identification and refinement of technical and functional business requirements.
- Serve as point of contact for non-routine to moderately complex installation projects for communication networks.
- Identify solutions, business impacts, size, complexity, and schedule based on assessments against requirements
- Provide advice and recommendations on process best practices
- Perform analysis of business or systems processes to identify improvements
- Work with clients to understand and define needs and develop and recommend solutions
- Interact and communicate with end-users, management, vendors, and IT personnel
- Ensure scrum teams have customer requirements that are converted into well-groomed user stories and collaborating with internal technical teams to provide status to customers for one or more software development projects.
- Develop long-term strategic objectives to ensure user requirements will be satisfied in future years
- Work in collaboration to drive organizational change management to adopt timely, cost effective and secure IT solutions
- Responsible for supporting and tracking enhancements
- Plan, document and coordinate new and existing business cases and projects that follow the customer's Governance life cycle. The role will include hands-on solution development, resource management, implementation support, and client management
- Plan, direct, and coordinate OCM, SDLC, and DevOps activities to bring value and impact to the customer
- Ensure government PO's are satisfied with the support they receive
- Provide Transparency and visibility across the enterprise to make sure development priorities, status on issue resolution, and progress on project initiatives, are well understood, clear, and easily accessible via dashboard or other reporting means
Qualifications
Required Education:
- Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience.
Desired Education:
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, management information systems, or related field
Required Experience:
- 3+ years of relevant Project Management experience with an emphasis on SW development projects
- Demonstrated experience supporting complex, large Enterprise IT programs that include Service Delivery, Agile development, and DevSecOps
- Demonstrated experience defining measurable metrics to monitor progress
Desired Experience:
- An active Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional or Program Management Professional
- An active Agile methodology certification (i.e. CSM or SAFe)
- An active ITIL V4 certification
- Experience in architecting, developing, and implementing enterprise business solutions utilizing Scaled Agile methodologies
Clearance:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI with the required poly.
