SAIC is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated candidate to join our Financial Planning team as a Senior Finance Analyst. The individual will play a critical role in supporting the Enterprise Business Development organization's financial decision-making process by providing valuable insights and analysis that drive strategic business planning, cost management, and optimization of resources.
This position is 100% remote nationwide.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of budgets for the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and quarterly forecasts
- Prepare, evaluate, and distribute financial data and provide actionable recommendations to organization leaders
- Perform period close reporting and variance analysis to various stakeholders
- Communicate regularly with the leadership team and assist in finance related operational activities
- Continuously evaluate current processes and make recommendations to improve financial forecasting, planning, and reporting
Qualifications
Required Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Finance or Accounting discipline and six (6) years or more of related experience; Masters and four (4) years or more experience
- Basic knowledge of federal government contracting
- Excellent oral and written communications
- Strong financial acumen
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience using Deltek Costpoint, Oracle EPM, Cognos, SmartView, or ThinkCell
