We are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented MongoDB Admin to join our team to begin an exciting and challenging career.

This position is hybrid and will require 1-2 days/week onsite in Ashburn, Virginia. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Work with dev teams and dev-ops teams to set up and manage MongoDB Clusters.
• Work with MongoDB professional services to architect optimal solutions for various projects.
• Work with MongoDB support through ticketing system to solve complex problems.
• Work with dev-ops to manage Cloud Resources like EC2, EBS, NFS etc.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 10 years of Unix Administration and/or RDBMS administration. Additional experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 1 year of MongoDB Administration, either Enterprise Advanced or Community Edition.
• Good understanding of MongoDB Sharding concepts and skills to provide optimal configs.
• Experience managing Cloud resources for running MongoDB Clusters.
• Ability to write MongoDB queries including aggregates.
• Experience with various data back-up and restore methodologies.
• Understanding of MongoDB security and user management.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience managing multi-cluster MongoDB environment with Ops Manager or Cloud manager.
• Experience with MongoDB Atlas.
• Experience with MongoDB tools like Relational Migrator, Cluster-to-Cluster sync etc.
• Good Understanding of Kubernetes and Operators.
• Experience with MongoDB Operator.
• RDBMS administration and ability to analyze and improve performance of SQL queries.
• Experience setting up LDAP and single sign-on for database systems.

Customer Requirements:

• Clearance – Ability to obtain and hold a public trust position and favorable suitability based on a CBP Background Investigation
• Citizenship – Must be a US Citizen
• Location – Hybrid with on-site (Kingstowne, VA and/or Ashburn, VA) visits 2 days a week.
