SAIC is seeking a Geospatial Cloud Project Manager to support projects in the Department of Interior GeoPlatform enterprise environment. GeoPlatform is hosted in a geospatial AWS cloud hosting service and provides access to trusted geospatial data and web-based geospatial solutions using Esri-based and other geospatial products developed by various DOI and other Federal organizations.
 

Job Duties

• Serves as the project manager for one or more GeoPlatform systems.
• Coordinates directly with customer leadership to gather requirements, define transition and O&M schedules, and provide status reports and other documentation. 
• Works directly with the Program Manager to compile and deliver status reports, quality assurance plans, risk mitigation plans, and technical documentation.  
• Coordinates tasking for technical staff to ensure requirements are being met
• Monitor and report on Service Level Agreement (SLA) status and track technical, financial, and invoicing status for multiple GeoPlatform projects.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• BS and 10+ years experience (4 years experience in lieu of degree)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust 
• Experience managing complex geospatial cloud systems.
• Extensive experience working with customer leadership to gather requirements, track schedules, review project status and leading customer meetings.
• Experience working with a variety of customers from multiple Federal agencies to track budgets and funding status of projects.
• Experience leading a team of IT professionals to include assigning and monitoring status of tasks and resolving any issues.
   

Desired skills:

• Basic understanding of cloud and geospatial technologies, including AWS and Esri products.

Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
