SAIC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Information Environment (EIE) and Configuration Management (CM) Lead for our SCITES 2 Task Order. The EIE and CM Lead will be responsible for overseeing the overarching architecture and cohesive configuration management of people, processes, and technology. The successful candidate will possess a current Secret clearance and have a proven track record of developing and executing configuration management blueprints and deploying interoperable, standards-based modern systems.
Responsibilities:
- Architecture and CM Accountability: Oversee the overarching architecture and cohesive configuration management of people, processes, and technology across the SCITES 2 Task Order.
- CM Blueprint Development: Develop and execute a configuration management blueprint to ensure consistency, accuracy, and accessibility of information, thereby enabling informed decision-making.
- Modern Systems Deployment: Deploy interoperable and standards-based modern systems and applications to enable the warfighter's ability to achieve and maintain a competitive advantage.
- Integration of People, Processes, and Technology: Ensure the seamless integration of people, processes, and technology for effective service delivery.
- Full Lifecycle Management: Manage the full lifecycle of IT services, including understanding and managing technical debt versus mission effectiveness.
- Service Catalogue Management: Develop and maintain a comprehensive service catalogue that aligns with organizational needs and objectives.
- IT Blueprint Management: Develop and maintain an IT blueprint that supports the strategic goals of the organization.
- Technical Oversight: Provide technical oversight and guidance for the implementation and maintenance of EIE and CM practices.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with relevant standards and best practices in configuration management and enterprise information environment management.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in configuration management and service delivery practices.
Qualifications
- Clearance: Must possess a current Secret clearance.
- Experience: Extensive experience in developing and executing configuration management blueprints, deploying interoperable systems, and managing the integration of people, processes, and technology.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of configuration management principles, enterprise information environment architecture, and IT service management.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage and execute complex IT projects.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in configuration management tools and methodologies.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Systems Engineering). Advanced degree preferred. & 18+ years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with USSOUTHCOM or similar combatant commands.
- Prior experience in configuration management and enterprise information environment management.
- Certifications in relevant areas such as ITIL, CISSP, or PMP.
Working Conditions:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Occasional travel may be required to support mission objectives.
