The SAIC Cloud One program is seeking a Junior DevSecOps Engineer to support two cloud systems as part of the overall C1 Cloud Architecture for Data Transport with a background and practical experience in: VMWare, Azure AD, Citrix, and ITSM methodologies. The individual will participate as part of a team to support the development, configuration, and implementation of advanced virtualized cloud environments to meet Air Force Migration Data Transport needs. These activities present and support work conducted by the Data Transport Team Engineers and Project Manager.

Cloud One is an existing global, interconnected, virtualized, hybrid, and IT infrastructure that hosts mission systems, applications, services, and data in support of DoD Services and Agencies. Cloud One incorporates the capabilities of Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) and DevSecOps principles to provide common services and facilitate cloud application migrations to IL-4, IL-5, and AWS and Azure cloud environments.
Responsibilities:
- With direction: Design, deploy, operate, and maintain secure Cloud products and services within a Cloud-based environment to enable development teams to deliver features in the most efficient way possible.
- Maintenance and ongoing development of continuous build/ integration infrastructure.
- Provide Source Control Management/Documentation, create and maintain fully automated CI build processes for multiple environments; write, build and deploy scripts.
- Support CI/CD tools integration, operations, change management, and maintenance. Support full automation of CI/ testing. Support policies, standards, guidelines, governance and related guidance for both CI/CD operations and for work of developers.
- Enable successful release management by moving code from Development and Testing environments to Staging and Production.
- Work closely with software developers, production support, and information security to automate and support infrastructure and tooling in cloud-based platforms.
- Provide recommendations and apply agile and DevOps/DevSecOps practices to streamline product delivery and reliable operations of product.
- Continuously identify opportunities to automate and save time to all environments extant to Data Transport for Cloud One.
- This may include information related to hardware/software selections, as well as tools recommended for efficiency and security to meet technical delivery needs.
- Maintain technical expertise in all areas of virtualization and related cloud offerings which may maximize cloud solution technologies for Data Transport.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Must be a US Citizen with a Public Trust. Must have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's or Bachelor's track in Science/Info technology with a graduation. In lieu of a degree, four (4) additional years of experience will be considered.
- Experience with one or more of the following: Azure, Citrix, VMWare.
- Knowledge of integration concepts and technology (i.e., VMs, Linux, Cloud Services, etc.).
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders and colleagues. Must be able to work independently and collaboratively.
Desired Clearance and Certifications:
- Security + and/or Cloud Computing Essentials.
- Secret clearance (ability to upgrade to Secret).
Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
