SAIC is the premier Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2) integrator with expertise in transforming legacy command and control systems into a modern hybrid cloud environment to accelerate decision making and increase mission success. This new program is part of a broader effort to provide a tactical operational picture aligned with the JADC2 and Joint Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) to adapt to new and emerging threats.
SAIC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst EVMS Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing and leading Earned Value Management System (EVMS) processes and practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and supporting project management and performance measurement. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of EVMS principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. The ideal candidate would provide the following:
- Lead the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of the Earned Value Management System across multiple functional teams.
- Ensure EVMS compliance with industry standards such as EIA-748 and organizational policies.
- Develop and maintain EVMS processes, tools, and templates to support project management.
- Collaborate with project managers, financial analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting of project performance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and enhancements to the EVMS framework.
- Lead initiatives to implement best practices and optimize project performance measurement methodologies.
Qualifications
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree and nine (9) years or more experience; Master's degree and seven (7) years or more experience; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.
· Strong understanding of EVMS principles, guidelines, and industry standards (EIA-748).
· Proficiency in project management software and EVMS tools (e.g., Deltek Cobra, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
· Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data to diverse audiences.
· Experience in Agile Development Scheduling is preferred.
· Certification in Project Management (PMP, CAPM) or EVMS (Earned Value Professional, EVP) is preferred.
Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
